The day was "Meeting with the Master of the American Architects"

Gün, Amerikan Mimarlarının Ustasıyla tanışma günüydü.

We arranged a plan that was like other weekends. We had decided to go to Pittsburgh the city. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania State. That state is near Ohio State. It is about 2,5 hours far from Ohio. 

I woke up and i was surfing on the net with my phone. I wonder which arhitectural buildings were in where we will go. While i searched that city on google, i screamed!!!

"Fallingwater!" 

-What? said M and P.

-I mean we certainly have to go the Fallingwater House if we go to Pittsburgh.

Diğer haftasonları gibi plan yaptık. Pittsburgh şehrine gitmeye karar verdik. Pittsburgh, Pensilvanya Eyaleti'nin içindedir. Bu eyalet, Ohio Eyaleti'nin yanındadır. Ohio'dan hemen hemen 2,5 saat uzaklıkta.

Uyandım ve telefonda internette dolaşmaya başladım. Nereye gideceksek oradaki mimari binaları merak ediyordum. Google'da arama yaptıktan sonra çığlık attım!

-Şelale Evi!!!

-Ne!? dedi Mudejar ve Pantherars.

-Demek istediğim, eğer Pittsburgh'a gidiyorsak kesinlikle Şelale Evi'ne gitmeliyiz.

Then i began to tell them the Fallingwater and the great master architect: Frank Lloyd Wright. It would be second meeting with him after my university education. I had a lesson about the modern architecture which was about after industrial revolation. That buildings (i mean like Fallingwater) can be count first instances. Mr.Wright was from that term. He is known his own design houses.Also he is known his style the organic architecture that means design has to be in harmony with humanity and with his environment.

Sonra onlara Şelale Evi'ni ve büyük usta mimarı anlatmaya başladım: Frank Lloyd Wright. Bu benim ikinci tanışmam olacaktı üniversite eğitimimden sonra. Sanayi Devriminden sonraki o modern mimarlık hakkında bir dersim vardı. Bu binalar ilk örnekler sayılabilir. Bay Wright, bu dönemden. O, kendi tasarladığı evleriyle bilinir. Ayrıca Organik Mimarlık tarzıyla yani "tasarım, insanlık ve kendi çevresiyle bir uyum içerisinde olmalıdır."

We found it on Google Maps. It was far from Downtown. So we had to choose one of both. The house or downtown. We had choosen the Fallingwater. 

Probably 3 hours later, we arrived there. We had learned that if we dont have any tickets, we cant trip. Whole tickets for tripping inside of the house were reserved. Only there were tickets for tripping its outside. But that tickets could be reserved for 3 hours later. We bought.

Google haritalardan evi bulduk. Şehir Merkezinden uzaktaydı. İkisinden birini seçmeliydik. Şehirmerkezi ya da o ev. Şelale evini seçtik.

Muhtemelen 3 saat sonra oraya vardık. Eğer biletimiz yoksa gezi yapamayacağımızı öğrendik. Evin içini gezmek için olan bütün biletler reserve edilmişti. Sadece evin dışını gezmek için olanlar vardı. Ama bu biletler de 3 saat sonrası için reserve edilebilirdi. Satın aldık.

Until we go to the house, we would do another things for spending time. Firstly we found a restaurant. Owners of there were very polite and honest people. We said them we couldnt eat any meat products. They found the convenient food for us and served us. They said us even not eat their soup due to our eating food conditions. After that lunch break  we had begun to tour around of there that open air area and discovered the Ohiopyle Park. 

O eve gidene dek vakit geçirmek için birşeyler yapacaktık.  Öncelikle bir restoran bulduk. Sahipleri çok kibar ve dürüst insanlardı. Onlara et ürünü yiyemediğimizi söyledik. Onlarda bizim için uygun yiyecekler bulup servis ettiler. Hatta onların çorbalarından içmememizi söylediler, yemek yeme kurallarımızdan kaynaklı :) Öğle yemeği arasından sonra açık havada oranın çevresini turlamaya başladık ve Ohiopyle Parkını keşfettik.

That park was in Pennsylvania nevertheless its name was Ohiopyle. The season was fall and trees in the park were so amazing! 

Bu park Pensilvanya'da olmasına rağmen ismi Ohiopyle'di. Mevsim güzdü. Ve parktaki ağaçlar muhteşemdi!!

Then time was up! We went to the Fallingwater!

While we were walking to there, we passed from very amazing green areas. I can confess that afterwards i used pictures of there as background picture, for my renders on the 3D program :)

Ve vakit geldi. Şelale Evi'ne gittik.

Oraya doğru yürürken, muhteşem yeşil alanlardan geçtik. Oranın resimlerini daha sonra 3D programındaki resimlerim için arkaplan olarakkullandığımı itiraf edebilirim:)

I was so exiting when the house was getting close to us. The paths'floor that we passed, were consisting of little cutted and dispersed woods. I was affected this technical. We arrived. After we took a lot of pictures, i took my sketchbook, i had begun to draw it!

Ev bize yaklaştıkça çok heyecanlanıyordum. Geçtiğimiz patikaların zemini küçük kesilmiş ve serpilmiş tahta parçalarından oluşuyordu. Bu teknikten çok etkilendim. Ulaştık. Bir çok resim çektikten sonra çizim defterimi aldım ve O'nu çizmeye başladım!

The Fallingwater was designed in 1935. Mr. Kaufmann wants Mr.Wright to design a house with based on the fallingwater at there. And the master architect decides to build it on the fallingwater. It is an outline for this house's story. Also we have learned the house's plan was designed such as though nested rectangle with a center. My teacher said us "you can think that as though it is a divided a box." Not only one mass, flowing  places to each others. So it means you can move in that places very easily. To pass from room to room very simple.

Şelale Evi, 1935'te tasarlanmıştır. Bay Kaufmann, Bay Wright'tan oradaki şelaleyi baz alarak bir ev tasarlamasını ister. Ve usta mimar, evi şelalenin üzerine inşa etmeye karar verir. Bu evin hikayesinin bir özeti. Ayrıca evin planının, sanki bir merkezle iç içe geçmiş dikdörtgenler gibi tasarlanmıştır.Hocamız demişti ki " bunu, sanki bir kutu bölünmüş gibi düşünebilirsiniz". Sadece tek kütle değil, birbirine akan mekanlar. Yani bu binanın içinde rahatça hareket edebilirsiniz. Odadan odaya geçmek oldukça kolaydır.

Cleveland Museum of Art

The Museum was in the University Circle. It was opened to public. It had a great garden with a pond. There were some sculptures in the garden, especially the museum's entrance. I had realized some scultures were about the zodiac circle. I mean the horoscopes. I took its photos one by one. Then, there was a little  pond except others. This one had very claim sculptures. And a thinker man (Rodin's the thinker) the sculpture that was given to the museum early in 1917. 

Müze, Üniversite Bölgesi'nin içindeydi. Halka açıktı. Gölet bulunan büyük bir bahçesi vardı. Bahçe içinde bir çok heykel vardı, özellikle müze girişinde. Bazı heykellerin Zodiac Çemberi'yle ilgili olduğunu farkettim. Yani burçlarla ilgili olduğunu. Hepsinin tek tek resmini çektim. Sonra diğer gölet dışında küçük bir havuz daha vardı. Bu havuzun çok iddalı heykelleri vardı. Ve düşünen adam heykeli (Rodin'in düşüneni)..o müzeye 1917 yılının erken dönemlerinde verilmiş.

THE THINKER MAN / DUŞUNEN ADAM

 The Museum has got a lot of collections and themes that were brought from every countries even from my country. At the entrance, a few officers take your bag for security of the museum. Then you can trip to every collections. There were some huge salons that include important exibitions. Paintings, statues and sculptures. Everything was so meaningful and impressive.

Müzenin bir çok ülkeden getirilen (benim ülkemden bile ) bir çok koleysiyonu ve teması var. Girişte bir kaç memuru müzenin güvenliği için çantanızı alıyor. Sonra her koleksiyonu gezebiliyorsunuz. Önemli sergileri içeren bir çok büyük salon vardı. Tablolar, heykeller, büstler. Herşey çok anlamlı ve etkileyiciydi.

We run into the atrium after the historical part (neo-classical building) of the museum. The atrium was connecting the new building (the modern) of the museum to previous part. There were some green decoration materials. It felt us there was a warm area.  The new part of museum was bulit in 2012. The atrium was very huge, spacious and light-well. After the atrium we run across cafeteria and giftshop. Actually, the products of the cafeteria was very affordable. And you can find the vegetarian foods so easily.

Müzenin tarihi bölümünden sonra (neo-klasik bina) atriumla karşılaştık. Atrium, müzenin yeni binasını (modern bina) bir önceki bölüme bağlıyordu.  Orada bazı yeşil dekorasyon elemanları vardı. Sıcak bir ortam hissi veriyordu. Müzenin yeni bölümü 2012'de inşa edilmiş. Atrium çok büyük,ferah ve aydınlıktı. Atriumdan sonra kafeterya ve hediyelik eşya dükkanıyla karşılaştık. Açıkcası kafeteryanın ürünleri oldukça uygun fiyattaydı. Ve kolayca vejeteryan ürünler bulabilirsiniz.

The back of the historical museum  and entrance of the new part was connected to another place of the university campus. So when we came the university circle, absolutely we had visit that museum. Of course, that museum can not be tripped in a day. isnt it?

Tarihi muzenin arkası ve yeni bölümün girişi, üniversite kampüsünün başka yerlerine bağlanıyordu. Yani ne zaman Üniversite Bölgesi'ne gelsek mutlaka bu müzeyi ziyaret ettik. Elbette bu müze bir günde gezilemez. Değil mi?

I have met a community which is "Ask a Muslim"
They have a very exciting slogan , also that slogan is so interesting.

"Jesus is Alive. And He is a Muslim"

They are trying to tell people who Jesus is in Islam and what they believe. I thought that slogan is so brave  to say another people who is not Muslim. It is a very striking claim for another believers of other religions. 

Yes we believe that. He dint die. He was ascended.

Çok heyecan verici bir sloganları var, ayrıca bu slogan çok ilginç.

"Hz. Isa (a.s) yaşıyor ve o bir müslüman"

Hazreti İsa'nın (a.s) İslamdaki yerini ve kendilerinin neye inandığını başka insanlara anlatmaya çalışıyorlar. Bu sloganın, müslüman olmayan insanlara söylenmesi açısından oldukça cesaretli olduğunu düşündüm. Bu başka dinlerin inananları için çok çarpıcı bir iddia.

Evet biz buna inanırız. O ölmedi. Göğe yükseldi.

Columbus Muslims have built a masjid with their own means at Columbus. The Masjid had not completed yet. Donations for masjid was continuing. Frontals was as good as done. But building interiors was gone on. We ran accross Columbus Muslims on Eid at yard of the Masjid. That was so meaningful and pretty synchronicity. We sacrifice a sheep  and eat beef and share it with another people and especially poor people, on Eid al-adha. That rule is related with Prophet Abraham (peace upon be him). I supposed i would not eat beef on that Eid. Because there is no area where we sacrifice our own sheep with our religion's rules. But we ran accross that people, They were sharing their meat with other people. They were so generous.

Columbus müslümanları Columbus'a kendi imkanlarıyla bir mescid inşa etmişler. Henüz tamamlanmamıştı. Mescid için yardımlar devam ediyordu. Cepheleri bitmiş gibiydi. Ama içi hala devam ediyordu. Columbus Müslümanlarıyla bayram da Mescidin bahçesinde karşılaştık. Çok anlamlı ve sevimli bir tevafuktu.  Biz Kurban Bayramında bir koyun kurban ederiz ve et yeriz, onu başka insanlarla, özellikle yoksul insanlarla paylaşırız. Bu kural Hz. Ibrahim (a.s)'la ilişkilendirilir. Bayramda et yiyemeyeceğimi düşünüyordum. Çünkü dini kurallara göre kendi koyunumuzu kurban edebilecek bir alan yoktu. Ama o insanlarla karşılaştık. Kendi etlerini başkalarıyla paylaşıyorlardı. Çok cömertlerdi.

Masjid's name is OMAR IBN EL-KHATTAB (the name was name of second caliph of islam. He was one of four great caliphs in Islam.) Also They say it "the Muslim Heart of Columbus".

Mescidin ismi Ömer Ibn Hattab mescidi. (Islamın ikinci halifesinin ismi. O dört büyük

halifeden biriydi.) Aynı zamanda Mescid'e "Columbus'un Müslüman Kalbi" diyorlar.

It was the most elaborated bookstore i have ever seen!
32 rooms, 32 themes, 32 smells, 32 sounds..
It was like a kind of labyrinth that you can get lost. It begin to small entry and you start to tour every rooms. It has no regular axis system between the rooms. Each rooms have a smell, a theme, a sound that different than others. For example, If you are in the cooking theme, this room is full of cooking books, there are a lot of different cards, staffs, about cooking. Also the room smells as though a parfum about cooking. And the second room is about flowers. You can find books about gardening. Whole ornaments of this room are about flowers and the room smells like flowers.

32 oda, 32 tema, 32 koku, 32 müzik.
Sanki kaybolabileceğin bir labirent gibiydi. Küçük bir girişle başlıyor ve her odayı turlamaya başlıyorsun. Odalar arasında düzenli bir aks sistemi yok. Her oda diğerlerinden farklı bir koku, bir tema, bi sese sahip. Mesela, eğer yemek pişirme temasındaysanız, bu oda pişirme kitaplarıyla doludur. Pişirme hakkında bir çok farklı kartpostal vardır. Aynı zamanda odada sanki pişirmeyle ilgili bir koku duyarsınız. Ve ikinci oda çiçeklerle ilgili. Bahçe işleriyle ilgili kitaplar bulabilirsiniz. Bu odanın bütün süsleri çiçeklerle ilgilidir ve oda çiçek kokar.

You can find a lot of themes in this bookstore. I had been there during two or three hours. We had tour every rooms and yes we got lost!
Two friends who were neighbors of Mudejar and Pantherars before, joined us. I met them first-time. Actually i know their mother from Turkey. They were so friendly.

Önceden Mudejar'ın ve Pantherars'ın komşusu olan iki arkadaş bize katıldı. Onlarla ilk kez tanıştım. Aslında onların annesini biliyordum Türkiye'den. Çok arkadaşçıllardı.
Bu kitapçıda bir çok tema bulabilirsiniz. Orada 2 ya da 3 saat bulundum. Her odayı turladık ve evet kaybolduk!

I am interested in Horoscope, signs of zodiac. Firstly , i looked for zodiac books. They had no own rooms. They belongs  to beliefs theme. This room were full of books about religions and beliefs. The sound of room related like church choirs. And i found a lot of zodiac books.

Ben burçlarla ilgilenirim, burç çemberinin elemanlarıyla. İlk önce burç kitaplarına baktım. Onların kendi odası yoktu. İnanışlar temasına bağlıydılar. Bu oda din ve inanış kitaplarıyla doluydu. Odanın sesi kilise korosuyla ilişkilendirilmiş gibiydi. Ve bir sürü burç kitabı buldum.

Other room which i liked, is of course about art and architecture. I saw lots of significant books by famous architecture. Also there were some sketch books, art tips books with pictures. I bought a tips books about drawing for a person who she love drawing so much and i love so much :) I hope she is reading that writing.

Sevdiğim diğer oda tabiki sanat ve mimarlıkla ilgiliydi. Ünlü mimarlara ait bir sürü değerli kitap gördüm. Aynı şekilde orada bir çok karalama kitapları ve resimli sanat ipucu kitapları vardı.  Bir tane ipucu kitabı aldım çizimle ilgili. Biri için. O resim cizmeyi çok sever. Ben de onu çok severim :) İnşallah bu yazıyı okuyordur :)

We got lost  at this bookstore :) Probably firstly Mudejar had realized that. M called us and we found each others following arrows.

The funny event that be often occured. Pantherars and i have resemble styles. Among the millions of cards, we picked out same ones!

Bu kitapçıda kaybolduk. Muhtemelen bunu ilk kez mudejar farkettiç Bizi aradı ve okları takip ederek diğerlerini bulduk.
Sık sık vuku bulan komik bir olay var. Pantherars ve benim benzer tarzlarımız var. Milyonlarca kartpostal arasından aynı olanları seçtik!
